The emblem, openedSix steps
The cut: a centralized constellation makes room for free association A hierarchy fills a circular constellation: intermediary hubs, ranks of people, and dense monitoring connections are bound through an all-seeing eye in the middle. A swift 180-millisecond diagonal physically cleaves the eye into two separate halves and severs the dependencies. The extra connections fade away. The hierarchy recedes into the lower right. The released people and devices remain; direct connections grow between them in the space the hierarchy vacates. People connect directly in the upper left. The construction waits for your input. Click or tap the arrow or emblem, or simply scroll onward. The full-width opening resolves into the page and cannot be scrolled back into. The stroke starts immediately and its consequences settle in two seconds. The full-size composition holds until the Øk mark appears; only then do the emblem and the original headline words move into the two-column arrangement. With reduced motion the arrangement changes without animation. The eye fully reassembles in the lower-right hierarchy. Explore separates the fine rings, constellation, whole eye, and signature into a dimensional assembly. The slash becomes the stroke of the Øk mark. Move your pointer to turn the whole construction, assembled or disassembled. Scroll through the instruments to follow a line from Messenger to Files to Servitor; each arrival illuminates that instrument and displays its detail. The labels are optional keyboard and click shortcuts to the same scroll positions. Drag to rotate. Once opened, click the emblem, or press Enter, to take it apart into rings, constellation, eye and signature; click again to put it back. The Replay control plays the cut again. Øk
